For the inaugural talk of the 2014 Fabulous Felines Lecture Series, we are very proud to call on one of our own. Jess Langer has been a volunteer, leader, and true friend to Fabulous Felines since the beginning, and is also blessed with a deep empathy and understanding of cats. On January 26, Jess will speak on Understanding An Enigma: The Cat. She will discuss cat body language and behavior, and how we can use this better to understand our feline friends. She will also touch on the problems of shy cats and ways we can introduce them into our homes and existing cat communities.
Jessica Langer is a tireless advocate for the welfare of cats, a talented writer (see Buddy’s Story on this website), a designer (she does all our event flyers), and has the kind of deep knowledge and intuition about cat behavior that comes from years of working with these animals. Jess has an almost magical ability to connect with cats, and we have seen her charm frightened, wild animals we would hesitate to approach. Please join us for an afternoon of learning how we can better understand the nuances of cat behavior and communication.
We also thank the First Unitarian Animal Advocates for providing the use of their meeting room for this talk.
