The second talk in our 2015 Free Lecture Series brings a very special speaker to Albuquerque to speak on a topic of great importance to everyone who shares their home with a beloved animal friend.
Mary Lane Leslie is a Taos Attorney who specializes in Wills and Estates. She has been practicing law since 1979, and has a special interest in estate planning and trusts to address the needs of companion animals, whether they be dog, horse, llama, bird, reptile, gerbil, or cats!
She is also the founder of W. O. O. F. (Watch Over Our Friends), a charity whose purpose is to provide a trustworthy agent to oversee funds we may set aside to provide permanent care for our beloved companion animals. W. O. O. F. offers a concrete solution to the daunting problem of finding a reliable agent to oversee pet trusts, and guard the interests of our animals on a permanent basis.
Please join us for the exciting free talk, and the opportunity to learn how to engage W. O. O. F. in setting up a trust to protect our animals. And, don’t forget to download the event flyer and share it with friends, coworkers, or anyone who might be interested!
