Hal

Meet Hal - a very special animal

All the cats we have helped are unique animals, but every now and then, one will touch us in a special way. The handsome boy to the left is one of them. We rescued Hal from Albuquerque Animal Control. Living on the streets had left him with a cauliflower ear and he had become FIV positive. In spite of all he'd been through, he has a sweet personality and is a very affectionate cat. He is a big boy, weighing 20 pounds, and he may play a bit rough for small children, but would make the right people a loving companion.

Because his FIV positive condition can be passed to other cats (but not humans), he does need some special attention. His main needs are to be kept indoors and given lots of affection.

With this and normal vet care, Hal can live a long and healthy life. If you have a place in your heart and home for this beautiful animal, please contact us.

snickerdoodle stardust

Snickerdoodle and Stardust are sweet young boys in need of a permanent, loving home. Kittens of an abandoned cat, they were rescued from the streets. They are shy, but respond quickly to gentleness and understanding, love to play (see this video of Snickerdoodle Playing), and they need a human companion who will spend time with them.

They enjoy the companionship of other cats, and are fast friends. We would like to find a home that will take them together.
