Angelo: The Life of a Retired Therapy Cat

Hatching Avocados!
Angelo, a rescued Himalayan with genuine star power, was our first therapy cat. He passed the job onto Vilnius when he was adopted. This is a picture of a very happy and healthy Angelo laying on a basket of his Mom's avoados!

Angelo was adopted by by Angie Gonzales-Eskel, the owner of Happy Meows Pet Sitting and Pet Care Services. Angie met Angelo when she was volunteering for Fabulous Felines, and Angelo was one of our foster cats who also was the first cat we took to visit Alzheimer's patients.

When the demands of her business led her to reduce her volunteer time, Angie happily took Angelo to live with her. Having known Angie for a long time, we are certain she and Angelo are having a lovely home together.

We are delighted that we were able to rescue Angelo, and even happier that he has found such a lovely home. Although she is no longer an active volunteer, she remains a friend of Fabulous, and has provided us with a terrific article on grooming (her skill is evident in Angelo's remarkable appearance).
